| 2XV v Paisley 01/11/08 Lochinch 17 - 5 Yesterday it was Sunshine after the Rain that greeted the Men in Black. This fixture was a home game at Lochinch and not Paisley Park. The forecast of Stormy weather and November Rain was now a distant memory. Within 5 minutes Paisley had crossed the white lines. The score left the MIB thunderstruck but the MIB responded well with a converted try within a couple of minutes. The rest of the game was all Strathclyde with the home team dominating in all departments however their inability to convert pressure into points was frustrating for players and spectators alike. Half time: 7 – 5. The second half started in a similar fashion with the Police on the offensive and they stretched their lead when man of the match Mark Walker sprinted up the left wing to cross the line. Watson converting. 14 -5. The MIB never stopped working and with the last kick of the game Watson popped a penalty over to seal the victory 17 – 5.
