Ok it's sad news when this early in the season the photographer is already having to apologise for showing up late and missing about a bazillion trys in the first half.....sorry.....but you know I never manage to get a try shot anyway so it's not that important. Sadly it was also a midge infested and dull dull dull day and this is reflected in the photies.....all that being said - enjoy....because those of us on the touchline certainly did! Below: Cumnock take the kick at the start of the second half
Above Left: Despite being in bright blue it was getting harder to tell our team from Cumnock as the mud coating grew. Above Right: Gary leads with his face.....again....but as long as he's got the ball it's ok....as below left. Below Right: A chain of bracing starts behind the ruck...
Above Left: Everyone lifts. Above Right: Chocolate coated (not really obviously) after a first half on a pitch that was showing weather saturation Below: Tay pops it over the line and Stuart takes the conversion
Thanks to Cumnock Players and Supporters, The Ref and our own Support for a great afternoon!
Above Left: Gary secures yet another ball in the lineout. Above Left: Chris makes a break and then feeds the ball out into the line Below: Cumnock number 14 makes a break with the ball but ends with Nik ensuring it was stopped in it's tracks
Above Left: As an Ex Thighs of the Year Winner we realise that Chris' legs are irresistable Above Right: The opposition fire the ball out of the scrum Below: The Strathendrick number 15 takes flight in a vain attempt to halt the progress of PD
Above: Plenty of folks out to watch the match (inside the clubhouse was jumping) Below: The Men in Blue played on right to the final whistle
Right: I think the Kenny's and Westy would really quite like to have that ball mate. Below Left: The jumpers drop back down as the ball heads out to the very back of the lineout Below Right: The Cumnock 8 takes off as he grabs the ball from the air - but Kenny has 'that look' about him....
