The sartorial question is a constant dilemma and this does tie in with our Weather page. We would
recommend the purchase of a good stout golfing type umbrella and going for warm/waterproof clothing
rather than aiming for a glamour / fashion statement on the touchline. Hats are good, as are gloves and
layering is the best way to go (including thermals which are, if you'll pardon the pun, not to be sneezed at.
Footwear is better off being of the ‘walking boots/wellie boots’ variety rather than heels, sandals or trainers
(unless you’re happy with them getting muddy). Please remember to ensure that you have made some
attempt to clean off your footwear (or else slipped into a nifty change from the car boot) before tracking
mud into anyone’s club house!
