After much debate and discussion we decided to help along the endless question of 'who was the best player we've had' by
creating the SPRFC Fantasy Team.  It's simple - you vote - the team is created (in our heads at least).    The results as they
currently stand are listed below along with some of the comments made about the players by those voting (a lot of folks voted
without comments which is fair enough).  If you'd like to take part then fill in the
form here.

Alan 'Cheesy' Cheshire
Longest serving, oldest and fittest!
He is a star….well as old as one.
Rock of ages
Really fit old c**t - hard as nails
Iain 'Nellie' Nelson
Quite simply an excellent player
Great tackle on this guy
The boy can play a bit
OOOOOOFF
Gary Hanson
His tackle on Geddes at Lochinch
- memorable
Turned up smelling like a brewery
every week hit like a train

5
Stuart 'Baby G' Gillies
A stand out
Young player only been here a few
seasons but probably all his
teammates favourite player
Really good guy to have on the pitch
Sandy Geddes
Wasn't always one half of waldorf
and stadler
A really decent player despite what
evidence today might suggest

7
Graeme 'Boom Boom' Mayo
Fast as greased lightening and easy to
lift in the line out
Kenny MacLeod
Legend
Sympathy vote only
Gary Thomson
Goes without saying
20 years and still first on the team
sheet
Everywhere, every blade of grass,
lying at the bottom of rucks
I would hate to play against him
9
Paul Paterson
What a dummy, not him....his
particular skill
More skill in his pinky than the rest
of us in our whole bodies
When on his game he is a
different class altogether
10
Alan Watson
Commitment and kicking
Inspriational or sometimes just
irrational
A real 'big game' player
His kicking was quite often the
difference between a win and a
loss
12
Chris Butler
Big, fast aggressive.
Can play at number 8, 12 and 10.
He'll lead, you just gotta follow
WEAPON OF MASS
DESTRUCTION!
13
Phil 'The Flute' Nicol
Fast, tall and hard
Simply devastating, a rocket with a
step that could send a big cat the
wrong way
11
Ewan 'Bambi' Logie
You need a finisher in any team
In season 2004-2005 he was a try
scoring machine
14
Liam Bryson
A confidence player but when his
hands are 'working' he's got it
15
Nik Rossi
Best full back that I've seen at the
club
A genuine fullback rather than a
conscript
Magic player real quality runner
John Lambie
Was he going left?
Was he going right?
Never sure, but he was always
gonnae go
Jim McLeod
Took three, sometimes four
players to get him down
Mike Tarling
Hard as nails, and great with the
ball going forward.
Great tackler.
Blind side flanker who could
change a game with a tackle
